Introduction

Impulsivity can feel like you're on a fast-moving train you didn't mean to board. One second you're calm, and the next you're interrupting, clicking "buy now," or reacting with more intensity than you intended. If you live with AuDHD (Autism and/or ADHD), this experience might be so common you don’t even notice it happening anymore — until it causes problems.

But here’s the good news: you don’t have to stop the train completely. You just need to install some checkpoints — and mindful breathing is how we build them. This workbook page will guide you through a metaphor we call the "Train Track of Impulse" to help you recognize what's happening, understand why it happens, and teach your brain how to respond instead of react. One breath at a time.
